2024 California 300 Desert Clean-Up presented by Tread Lightly!
Nearly 50,000 lbs of trash removed from Barstow, CA!
The California 300 has announced an industry wide desert clean-up event the two weekends preceding The California 300 Off-Road Race. The goal of the event is to unite the off-road community and clean up waste dumped illegally in the Stoddard Valley OHV area, as well as promote sustainable habits and responsible public land use to improve California’s desert landscape.
What: The 2024 California 300 Desert Clean-Up presented by Tread Lightly!
When: Saturday, September 21st
Time: 10am – Noon
Where: Stoddard Valley OHV Area (Barstow Main)
Event staging area located off Outlet Center Drive, just south of downtown Barstow. Click here for directions from downtown Barstow.
You do not need an off-road vehicle to access the clean-up sites. Participants will receive an event t-shirt and automatically be entered into a massive raffle that includes thousands of dollars in donated off-road parts, accessories and swag from industry leading companies.
We are asking participants to pre-register to better account for supplies:

2024 Goal = 20 tons (40,000 lbs)
2023 = 14.6 tons (29,200 lbs)
2022 = 10.2 tons (20,400 lbs)
